- 450 g lean ground beef
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp packed, brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 3/4 tsp McCormick® Ginger, Ground
- 1/4 tsp McCormick® Crushed Red Pepper
No need to go out for Korean BBQ – it’s going down in your kitchen! Bulgogi is a traditional Korean dish starring thinly sliced steak. Whip up this version with ground beef to experience easy,global flavour at home. McCormick® ginger,red pepper and sesame seeds add a nutty,fragrant taste. Enjoy with lettuce wraps,rice or kimchi.
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl and pour into a large pan. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until meat is browned.
Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking for about 5 minutes or until meat is cooked through,stirring frequently.
Serve over lettuce leaves with sliced green onions,rice and kimchi if desired.
