  • 1/2 cup / 100g Shallots, sliced
  • 1/2 cup / 100g Carrots, sliced
  • 1/2 cup / 100g Long beans, cut into 5cm lengths
  • 2 whole / 600g Squid, peeled, fully fabricated, and sliced
  • 1 Tsp / 3g, McCormick® Chili Powder
  • 1 Tsp / 3g, McCormick® Turmeric, Ground
  • 1 Tbsp / 12g Sugar
  • As needed, Oil for stir frying
  • As needed, Salt to taste

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, marinade the squid with McCormick Chili Powder, McCormick Turmeric Powder, sugar, and a pinch of salt to taste. Set aside and marinade for at least 15 minutes.

  • In a sauté pan, heat up some oil for stir frying over medium heat.

  • Add shallots, carrot, and long beans and sauté until onions and slightly softened and aromatic

  • Turn the heat up and add the squid, sauté and remove when squid is cooked through yet tender, season with salt to taste.

  • Serve hot.
