Crispy Fried Squid with Black Pepper Mayonnaise

The squid is coated in a crispy batter, deep-fried until golden brown, and served with a side of creamy and tangy black pepper mayonnaise. Great as an appetizer or sides.

  • Clean the squid thoroughly and slice the squid into rings or bite sized pieces.

  • Mix the squid with salt, McCormick Garlic Powder, McCormick Onion Powder, eggs and potato starch and marinate for 15 minutes.

  • To make the dipping sauce, mix the mayonnaise and McCormick Black Pepper well, set aside.

  • Pre-heat oil for frying to 180 – 185°C.

  • Fry the squid for 6-8 minutes or until golden and crispy.

  • Serve with black pepper mayonnaise dipping sauce.
