Preparation

  • Combine chicken, McCormick Turmeric Powder, and McCormick Sea Salt. Marinate for 1 hour.

  • Fry the marinated chicken.

  • Heat oil over medium heat and sauté McCormick Garlic Powder, McCormick Onion Powder, McCormick Ginger Powder, chilli paste (chilli boh) and dried tamarind slice (asam keping) until fragrant.

  • Add water, McCormick Cinnamon Powder, McCormick Paprika Ground, sugar, tomato sauce and chicken stock. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low and simmer.

  • Add the fried chicken and tomato. Mix well and simmer for 15 minutes until the gravy is thickened. Serve with tomato rice.
