Preparation

  • Mix the minced beef, McCormick Grill Mates Vintage Smokehouse BBQ Sauce (For marination) and French’s Classic Yellow Mustard well. Shape into small meatballs, about 1 cm across and set aside.

  • In a large wok or sauté pan, heat up oil over medium high heat and sear the meatballs until brown and cooked through. Transfer to a cooling tray to cool.

  • In the same wok or sauté pan, heat up oil over high heat and sauté the red onions and garlic until soft and aromatic. Add the gherkins and jalapenos and continue sauteing for another minute.

  • Add the rice, McCormick Grill Mates Vintage Smokehouse BBQ Sauce (For stir frying), and cherry tomatoes. Continue cooking until the BBQ sauce is evenly mixed.

  • Mix in the meatballs and season the fried rice with salt and McCormick Coarse Ground Black Pepper as needed.

  • Transfer the fried rice to a serving pan and drizzle a thin layer of mayonnaise and layer the sliced cheese on top.

  • Lightly bake in a hot oven to melt the cheese before serving.
